Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is N00244-10-T-0484-0001. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR FAC 2005-43 and DFARS-DCN 20100820. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted NAICS Code 335122 is applicable and business size is 500 employees. **************************************************************************************************************************************** The Navy requires 2 balloon lighting stands and accessories. Balloon lightings will be used for special events. Minimum salient characteristics: 1. diameter 160 centimeters 2. height 5 meters 3. balloon stands require 1 x 2,000W lamp 4. 2 plugs 5. wind resistance (mph) 18.5 6. needs to light up to 1300 square meters 7. air-inflated balloon (integrated fan) 8. pole mounted, indoor or outdoor use, quick set-up (15mins) 9. power cable extension must be 12/3SJO and 50 feet long 10. stand cover used for looks and safety 11. training on how to setup install the lighting balloons 12. 6 x 35lb sand bags “ saddlebag style Known Manufacture and Part Numbers: Airstar America, Inc. - BC161ZMOH02000R, ST201, Stand Cover Blk. If your company can provide the mentioned balloon lighting stands and accessories, please respond by COB day 1600 p.m. (PST) on 27 September 2010. ***Note*** If other then name brand parts are quoted: The vendor must supply technical data that includes all specifications of those parts so it can be used to determine its equality to the name brand parts stated in this solicitation. Vendors ™ bids that don ™t include sufficient data for determining technical equivalency will be determined to be unacceptable to this command. In addition, FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal is hereby incorporated by reference. Government Delivery Requirements: 20 business days. If the delivery day cannot be met contractors must provide an accurate and realistic delivery schedule. All transportation charges to be paid by the contractor without additional expense to the Government. Offers submitted on a basis other than F.O.B. Destination will be rejected as non-responsive and offers may be deemed unacceptable. Inspection and acceptance will be made at Destination by the Government. Delivery will be made to the COM NAVAIR PAC San Diego, CA 92135. Post Award Contract Administration will be retained by FISCSD, Code 240.
