- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with TECOM Industries, Inc, 375 Conejo Ridge Ave, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361-4928 for the purchase of the TECOM brand beam steering units. The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to 2LT Titus Butler via email at titus.butler@afncr.af.mil no later than 23 September 2010, 12:00 PM EDT.
