- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a Sole Source repair and maintenance renewal to Compunetix for 12 months. This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912PX-10-T-0020 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 811213, size standard $7m. This is a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance is from 01 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. JIATF South intends to issue a follow-on award to Compunetix, Inc. 21420 Mosside Blvd. Monroeville, PA 15146-1404. The contractor shall provide the following under their Repair and Maintenance Program Tier I. CLIN 0001: - CONTEX 500T/2000T TIER 1 RAMP Software Maintenance and Phone Support 8AM-5PM EST, Monday through Friday (Except on Compunetix recognized Holidays) Repair and Maintenance Plan (RAMP) Support. CLIN 0002: - 75 Hours of Hardware Repair Service. CLIN 0003: - Hardware Repair Materials. CLIN 0004: - Contract Manpower Reporting. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (June 2008), FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items- (March 2009), and 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items are hereby incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. The Government will make one award based on low price technically acceptable. Offerors shall comply with the provision at FAR 52.212-1(b) and submit 1) an electronic copy to Sharon Keenan via email at Sharon.keenan@jaitfs.southcom. 2) A technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in this solicitation. 3) Quotation. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items (Jun 2009) which can be accessed electronically from the INTERNET at the following address http://orca.bpn.gov.
