Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W909R002524000 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-44. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333319 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2010-09-27 12:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Eustis, VA 23604 The USA ACC MICC Fort Eustis requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Chassis Cross Beam and Supports with Hold Adjustments, ARIhetra lifting system model#TR-10-108 or equal. Or equal products will be 4-post, 2-each cross beam and 4-each adapter pad. Lift capacity must be 32,000lb per each pair of post. Adapter pads will be ARIhetra Model# CS-8-L-GP or equal., 1, EA; LI 002, Chemical Outdoor Storage Locker BL8000 or equal with the following minimum salient characteristics: (1) Explosion Proof Interior Light with switch; (2) Explosion proof heater, fan forced (25,000 BTU); (3) Explosion proof A/C (19,000 BTU); (4) R-11 Insulation (for B8000); (5) Dry chemical alarm; (6) Explosion proof exhaust with indicator light (343 CFM); (7) Additional double door -2hr fire rated (60Wx80H) with UL classified commercial grade keyed lock set; (8) Adjustable vents 18 x 18 with insulated cover; (9) Hurricane proof door; (10) Steel ramp with skid-resistant finish; (11) Explosion relief panels; (12) Multiple static ground connections; (13) 12 gauge galvanized steel exterior wall, 20 gauge cold roll interior wall, 3 airspace throughout; (14) 12 gauge steel sump with a minimum capacity of 1200 gallons; (15) Inlet vents for natural ventilation with fire dampers; (16) Load center is 120/240 single phase, NEMA 3R rated; (17) Explosion relief panels located in the rear wall; (18) Fire rated walls are Intertek tested and approved for 4 hours; (19) Finish is a two part chemical resistant aliphatic polyurethane; (20) Fire rated roofs shall be Intertek tested for 3 hours; (21)Height: 8-8.5; Width: 42; Depth: 8; (22) Shipping/delivery to be included in price., 1, EA; LI 003, 24 Planer, Delta RC-63D or equal. Or equal product will meet the following salient characteristics: (1) Exothermic cutting system; (2) 7.5 CFM @ 80 PSI; (3) Includes: torch, inch collet, torch shield, 10 foot inch ID oxygen hose, Striker with 10 foot cable, carry case., 2, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, USA ACC MICC Fort Eustis intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACC MICC Fort Eustis is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
