- NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Occupational HealthServices (OHS) at its Lewis Field site. Services include preventive medicine, health promotion and wellness, emergency andtherapeutic medicine, occupational medicine, physical fitness and employee assistanceprograms. This requirement includes providing the necessary management, resources,supplies, services and personnel required to perform the total effort.All services provided are part of a comprehensive Occupational Health Program managed bythe GRC Safety, Health and Environmental Division (SHED). The goals of this program areto promote, maintain and improve the health and wellness of the GRC workforce, with afocus on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care of illness and injury caused oraggravated by the work environment; and to minimize absenteeism and reduced productivity.This procurement is for a commercial service.GRC intends to award a firm fixed pricecontract, based on a best value selection. The period of performance will be a Three (3) year base period with Two (2) one yearoptions, beginning on or about June 1, 2011.This procurement is a total small business set aside.The NAICS code for this requirement is 621999 All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory HealthCare Services with a small business size standard of $10 Million in Average AnnualReceipts.NASA GRC anticipates releasing a draft RFP for comment in late October 2010. IndustryDay information and registration instructions will be provided at the same time.The anticipated release date of the final RFP is December 1, 2010 with an anticipatedproposal due date on or about January 21, 2011. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.All questions must be submitted in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
