- DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type contract for a Biodex System 4 Pro Orthopedic Test and Rehabilitation System. This system must include the following features: 1. Windows based software program for computer controlled testing and rehabilitation protocols, data collection and report generation. Audio Visual Images to assist the clinician in patient set up and positioning, and a Wizard to aide with the software application 2.Flat Panel Touch Screen Monitor. 3.Adjustable seat and dynamometer. 4.Five different report styles, all with normative values specific to gender to track and objectively record progress. 5.Isotonically able to produce.5 ft. lbs. 6.Passove speed of 0.25 deg/sec for proprioception testing and training. 7.Built in protocols for fall risk assessment and industrial medicine screening.
