- This is a Sources Sought Notice; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System has been tasked to solicit for on-line subscription services for Medical Media Service library located in Biloxi, MS. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications to complete and perform a sole source. Again, the type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. Uptodate Inc UptoDate is a single source product and proprietary software which enables physicians to: Access the most current information within their specialty, recognize the clinical manifestations of a wide variety of disorders and describe current options for diagnosis, management and therapy, including the efficacy, doses, and interactions of individual drugs, and identify optimal screening and prevention strategies. UpToDate is an official educational program of, or produced in cooperation with, major medical societies in the US. Interested companies are asked to respond to this Sources Sought Notice no-later-than 2:00 PM (CST) on September 30, 2010. All interested companies must be registered in CCR (http://www.ccr.gov/) to be eligible for award of government contracts.
