- The subject requirement is an add-on project in support of 29 sole source nsns manufactured by Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems, cage code 78500 from the Meritor B0491B Price List. The total duration of the items on contract will be a little less than 3 years. Solicitation is unrestricted with other than full and open competition. FOB origin is required and inspection/acceptance is at destination. The items are for customer direct support. Small Business Size Standard is 750. Hard copies are not available. ONLY RESPONSIBLE AUTHORIZED DEALERS FOR Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems may submit an offer. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The 29 sole source nsns cross reference to the commercial price list. In lieu of offering individual pricing for each of the 29 NSNs, offeror's will offer a discount off of the dealer net price in the Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems price list. These NSNs have been identified as sole source to Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems, cage code 78500. If the items are found not to be sole source to Meritor (78500) and the nsns are not on the Meritor B0491B Price List then the items will not be added to the existing long term contract. Delivery orders will be issued against the contract for the following: Customer Direct (DVD) Priority 1-15 in support of CONUS and OCONUS and FMS. The delivery schedule will be as follows: Customer Direct (DVD) is 1 day for CONUS and OCONUS and 3 days for FMS buys. If the requirements exceed estimated annual demand quantities, then the delivery will be IAW with the lead time away delivery contained in the price list. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c ) (1). Approved sources are authorized Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems dealers. Note 12 is applicable.
