Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center, Division of Acquisition Management, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to the American Science and Engineering, Inc. This requirement is for one year maintenance an X-ray machine. The maintenance shall include the following seven tasks (1) full parts, labor and expenses coverage during the period of performance; (2) one preventative visit for G6040-4133, G6040-134, G6040-4135 and Gemini 100100; scheduled at a time that is mutually agreeable to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and American Science & Engineering; (3) consumables; (4) 100% X-ray tube coverage for the contract period; (5) Disposal of Parts; (6) American Science and Engineering will pay for all freight for any parts which may be required to repair your systems during the contract period and (7) Follow up operator and basic image training during PM’s at no additional cost. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
