- This is not a request for proposals. No solicitation package is available. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration, Pittsburgh Regional Office (RO), Pittsburgh, PA, is soliciting Architecture/ Engineering (AE) firms to provide services for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract or contracts for A/E design services that include multiple A/E disciplines. Provide professional A/E design services, technical specifications, working drawings, cost estimates, as-built drawings, construction period services, and site visits for residential home modifications for disabled veterans in the Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (VR&E) Independent Living program. The Pittsburgh VR&E plans to award at least one Firm Fixed Price contract that meet requirements but reserves the right to make multiple awards. The intended IDIQ(s) will be for a period of one year from the date of award with options to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one year periods to be issued at the discretion of the Government. All work must be designed within a construction price estimate. Construction cost for this project is estimated between $50,000 to $250,000. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms within 125 mile radius of the Pittsburgh VA Regional Office; Pittsburgh, PA, The resultant contract(s) shall provide the framework for obtaining professional services required to deliver designs for various residential home modifications/renovations within the jurisdiction of the RO. The A/E services are intended for projects that are primarily multi-discipline in nature; however, projects may involve a single discipline or a combination of the architectural, civil, electrical, landscape, mechanical plumbing, or structural disciplines, or other engineering services. Designs shall be in accordance with applicable Federal Regulations, VA design criteria, current code requirements, ADA guidelines. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this work are 541310 and 541330. The small business standard is 4.5 million dollars average revenue for the three previous years.
