- STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 ABSTRACT 1.1 Perform a groom and balancing of the ships CCTV and TV-DTS System. 2.0 REFERENCES/ENCLOSURES 2.1 References 2.1.1 Orbit AL-700 TV-DTS Satellite System technical manual (Contained onboard ship) 2.2 Enclosures 2.2.1 TVDTS Performance specification test sheets 3.0 ITEM LOCATION/DESCRIPTION/QUANTITY 3.1 Location 3.1.1 CCTV room 07 Level; Antenna 08 Topside; Lounges and various splitter/amplifier locations on each deck 3.2 Material Description/quantity: Quanity: One MARINE STABILIZED TV-DTS ANTENNA SYSTEM (ABD & BDE) Antenna Control Unit (AL-7200-3M) Uninterruptible Power Supply Servo Driver Unit (AL-7200-2-SDU) Inertial Measurement Unit (AL-7200-IMU) 3.3 Contractor Furnished Material (CFM) 3.3.1 Blonder Tongue Frequency agile distribution amplifier (1) each GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICES 3.3 Not used 4.0 NOTES 4.1 The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier must consult the General Technical Requirements (GTR) to determine applicability to this work item. In performance of this work item, the contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier must comply with the requirements of all applicable GTR's including but not limited to GTR's 1-7,22,23,24, 28 and 29. 5.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS 5.1 None additional 6.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS 7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED 7.1 Arrangements/Outfitting: Not used 7.2 Structural: Not used 7.3 Mechanical/fluid: Not used 7.4 Electrical: Not used 7.5 Electronic 7.5.1 Test the CCTV System by observing the audio and video signal at each of the ships lounges. Test signals using the ships terrestrial antenna, pier cable, and Satellite systems. Use Reference 2.1.1 throughout this work item for as guidance for proper operation of the system and for testing parameters and specifications. Use Enclosure 2.2.1 as general guidance for component locations. The MFR REP shall conduct a performance test and evaluation of the TVDTS system and record the results on the attached enclosure 2.2.1. 7.5.2 Test and record the CCTV System signal level by observing with a CCTV System field strength meter at each of the ships lounges and head end amplifiers. Balance the CCTV distributed signal level throughout the ship. 7.5.3 Submit a written report to the MSFSC REP itemizing signal deficiencies, audio/video levels, locations, defective parts, and recommended solutions. 7.5.4 Perform a groom and alignment of the TV-DTS System. Inspect all Above Deck Equipment (ADE) and Below Deck Equipment (BDE). Check for damaged, missing, broken, worn, or burned components. Provide and replace missing hardware. Use only CRES 316 for ADE. Provide and replace worn drive belt. Submit an itemized report to the MSFSC REP for all other defective components, i.e. subassemblies, modules, PCB's, with estimated cost. 7.6 Drawings: Not used 7.7 Test/Inspections: 7.7.1 Contact the shipyard Superintendent and MSFSC REP to provide notice of a callout for an operational test/inspection of the CCTV/TVDTS system. Demonstrate satisfactory operation and signal level at each lounge and furthest stateroom on each deck in the presence of the MSFSC REP. 7.8 Painting: Not used 7.9 Marking: 7.10 Manufacturer's Representative: 7.10.1 The contractor shall engage the services of a qualified Electronic Systems Marine CCTV REP and TV-DTS REP to perform the work in this spec item. The following are suggested REPS for CCTV and TV-DTS: Other representatives shall be considered if they submit written documentation to the MSFSC REP of a certified course of instruction for the maintenance and repair of said systems or a written letter from the OEM authorizing them to work on the named system of this specification. 8.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 8.1 None additional
