- Solicitation (final). FBO says 'draft' but this is the final official (and first official) solicitation posted to FBO! Statement of Work Cover Letter Travis AFB requires a publisher to produce a Base Guide and Telephone Directory as well as tear-off Installation Maps. Publisher should provide 7,500 copies of the Base Guide and Telephone Directory and 10,000 copies in tear-off Installation Maps for the first year. Subsequent quantities will be determined thereafter. Period of performance will be no later than 31 December 2010 with renewal of options of two years for up to a total not to exceed six years. Payment Information: 1) All proceeds from the sale of advertisements for the Travis Air Force Base Guide and Installation Map belong to the Publisher, who agrees to look exclusively to such advertising for all publishing costs and profits, if any. 2) The publisher agrees to bear all costs and expenses of publishing the Travis Air Force Base Guide and Installation Map. It is expressly agreed that neither the United State, the commander or his or her representatives and successors, nor Travis Air Force Base shall be liable for any expenses or obligations incurred in publishing the Travis Air Force Base Guide or Installation Map. 3) No appropriated funds of the United States shall become due or be paid to the publisher by reason of this contract. This constitutes the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
