- The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price, sole source award for 1 ValleyLab Force FX-C-S generator for MEDDAC West Point to Covidien, Norfolk, CT. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for commercially available items. Only one responsible source is reasonably available due to the fact that Philips Medical Systems N.A is the only vendor for this propietary equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 1300 PM Eastern Standard Time 28 September 2010.
