- Description
- The following information is provided to establish minimum requirements for the Switchgear Battery Bank Replacement at the THAAD S-804, Radar Hardstand. I. 24 vdc Battery Bank-Switchgear Control a) Replace existing 2 lead acid batteries with Absolyte 6-50G13 battery modules. b) Clean and lubricate battery connector link c) Check and record connector link resistances. d) Set and adjust 125 VDC LaMarche battery charger as necessary. e) Remove and dispose of batteries in accordance with PMRF and local regulations. II. 125 VDC Battery Bank-Circuit Breaker Control a) Replace 10 battery modules with Absolyte 6-50G05 Batteries b) Clean and lubricate battery connector link. c) Check and record connector link resistances. d) Set and adjust 125 VDC LaMarche battery charger as necessary. e) Remove and dispose of batteries in accordance with PMRF and local regulations.
