Description
Avionics for AMERICAN EUROCOPTER LLC, Model AS350B2, Type Aircraft: Rotorcraft, Helicopter Base: Florida. Requirement is for parts and installation of dual-screen electronic flight display to supplement avionics equipment currently installed on the aircraft. Target equipment desired to include Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MFD) capability. PFD screen shows attitude, airspeed, altitude, climb rate and course/heading information. MFD provides detailed moving-map graphics depicting the helicopter's current position in relation to ground features, chart data, navaids and flight plan routings. Equipment to have preloaded software that includes geo-referenced diagrams for multiple U.S. airports. Display / equipment may use computer modeling to create a virtual topographic landscape from the terrain alerting database and be operational in low-visibility conditions.
