- Solicitation for Carpet Install. Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, 802d Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Avenue, Bldg. 5450, Lackland AFB, Texas 78236-5253 Description Carpet Installation, Air Force Security Forces Center (HQ AFSFC), Lackland AFB, Texas. This is a presolicitation notice for nonpersonal services to provide for the installation of previously procured carpet tiles. Services include on-site carpet removal/disposal, floor prep and installation of carpet tiles and warranty for any discrepancies or imperfections. The contractor will provide all carpet glue and other materials need to complete this job. The anticipated contract will be a one time purchase. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238330 and the small business size standard is $14M. This procurement is being issued as a Hubzone set aside. The Service Contract Act of 1965 as amended applies to this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be posted at Fed Biz Ops (http://www.eps.gov) electronically, on or about 2 Sept 10. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. A contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the Government using the lowest price technically acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency. All prospective offers interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE). A site visit will be held Wednesday 8 Sept 10, on 2:00 P.M. Central. If you plan on attending the site visit, please notify SSgt Chad Stemick at, chad.stemick@us.af.mil, no later than 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday 7 Sept 10. In your response be sure to include Driver's license Number and state of issue, Full name, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
