- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4 issued this contract for soil remediation at the Tower Chemical Company Site, located in Lake County, Florida on 10/28/09 to Polu Kai Services, LLC. This requirement is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Modification No. 19 is issued to allow for costs of additional millings as a result of a trade-off in the contract requirements to move the commercial vehicle storage area at the site from the southwestern section to the northeastern section of the site. This trade-off prevented work stoppage of the on-going excavation by Polu Kai Services and prevented a major business disruption of the commercial vehicle storage facility. The amount to obtain and place the additional millings is $31,232.00. The total amount obligated for this firm-fixed price contract is $4,197,177.00
