- AMENDMENT NOTICE: 3 September 2010 - Amendment 0001 has been posted The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to: 1. Provide answers to the initial RFQ questions that were submitted. 2. Update the C-130 FuT Conversion Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - Clause 52.208-9 - Contractor Use of Mandatory Sources of Supply or Services has been removed in accordance with the Q&A. - Attachment 7 - C-130 FuT Component Values for Insurance Purposes was added as an attachment in accordance with the Q&A. 3. Add Attachment 7 C-130 FuT Component Values for Insurance Purposes - Attachment 7 was added in accordance with the Q&A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement to develop thru conversion a C-130 Fuselage Trainer (FuT) to be used by the U.S. Air Force. The overall objectives of this C-130 Fuselage Trainer Conversion effort is to provide an additional permanent C-130 fuselage trainer at Little Rock AFB to meet the increasing demand of C-130 loadmaster training needs. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS code 336411 - Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The applicable size standard is 1,500 employees.
