- The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), on the behalf of the U.S. Army Center of Military History (CMH), intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) or 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Historical Art Prints, 464 Burr Road, Southbury, CT 06488-2788. Historical Art Prints will provide a battle sword carried by CPT John Berry, Commander of the Washington Artillery, who participated in the September 1814 defense of Fort McHenry against a British Naval bombardment. The delivery location and Point of Contact is: Mr. Michael G. Knapp, Department of the Army, The Center of Military History, 103 Third Avenue, Collins Hall, Building 35, Fort Leslie J. McNair, DC 20319. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT 09 September 2010 at 12:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
