- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VA Health care Network Upstate New York (VISN 2) intends to solicit offers and award one firm-fixed price contract on a competitive basis for THORACIC SCARCE MEDICAL Services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code number 622110 with a size standard of $34.5 million. The method of procurement for these services will be Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, 13, and 15. Award will be made to a responsible offeror who presents the best value to the government based on technical capability, past performance, and price. Solicitation VA-528-10-RP-0221 electronic solicitation package, including any related attachments and/or amendments will be available to the public as an RFP on the FBO website on or after September 7, 2010. Questions shall be submitted electronically in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer no later than five days after the solicitation is posted on the FedBizOps (FBO) website; http://www.fedbizops.gov/. VERBAL OR TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All responses will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation for the benefit of all interested offerors. FAXED AND EMAILED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses are to be sent electronically to leslie.robinson2@va.gov. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement electronically. Interested parties are reminded to register with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
