- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ProcessModel Inc., 32 West Center Street Suite 301, Provo UT 84601-4414, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source", to purchase ProcessModel network license server process improvement software and maintenance. The currently configured modeling software system was designed to meet the specific needs of SSA by, inter alia, charting specific workflows, creating working models, and optimization of SSA models. The code is proprietary and support can only be acquired and maintained from ProcessModel. There are no authorized re-sellers of this softare. The period of performance for the maintenance is for 12 months. The place of performance is SSA stations in Denver,CO. This software maintenance must include updates, upgrades, and bug fixes for the ProcessModel Network Server licence. The ProcessModel network server software is proprietary software, and ProcessModel Inc. is the only source known to the government. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested parties that feel they can provide the ProcessModel software and maintenance may respond by submitting their capability statement via email to Scott.Marko@ssa.gov. Information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for offers. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intent to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, SSA will proceed with sole source negotiations. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the email address listed above. Telephone calls regarding this matter will not be accepted, nor will they be returned.
