- Full Request for Quotation (RFQ) Request for Quotation Cover Letter The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has a requirement for the product and services contained in the enclosed request for quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is issued, and award will be made, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13: Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The NRC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. Instructions to Quoters 1. Offerors are requested to provide the following information: A) Price Quotation Please provide pricing for the ALPHA-DOC MKIII (Brand Name or Equal) and required maintenance services (see Attachment 1 to the RFQ for the full description of requirements). B) Offeror Representations and Certifications i) The quotation shall be signed, by an official authorized to bind your organization, and contain a statement indicating the period of time the quotation is in effect (not less than 60 days). ii) Please complete Section A.2 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-- COMMERCIAL ITEMS. iii) Your organization is required to be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov. Please also provide the NRC with your DUNS Number______________. 2. This RFQ closes at 2:00pm EST on Monday, September 13, 2010. 3. Your organization's quotation should be submitted by e-mail to Jennifer.DeFino@nrc.gov. The NRC is not responsible for electronic difficulties and/or administrative problems associated with the transmission of any files to the NRC. 4.
