- Solicitation Announcement Small Business Set Aside - Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Brand Name Procurement This procurement is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Responses will be due September 13, 2010. Individual request for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted. The point of contact for this solicitation is Brian Straka, Contracting Officer, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, TN. E-mail address is Brian_Straka@nps.gov and the voice telephone number is 865-436-1217. All responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business sources may submit a Quote, which if submitted in a timely manner will be considered. In order to download a copy of the solicitation vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company DUNS number, available at Dun and Bradstreet at 1-866-705-5711, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All responsible vendors should pre-register to save time by logging onto the Central Contractor registry (CCR) at the internet site http://www.bpn.gov. Responses from interested vendors will only be accepted electronically at the address listed in the solicitation. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. Please note that this solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Offers are not solicited from firms debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment. Ineligible firms shall consider this an informational copy only. You are responsible for submitting offers, and any modifications, revisions, or withdrawals; so as to reach the Government office designated in the solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation. Please refer to Federal Acquisition Regulation, Clause 52.212-1 - Instruction to offerors for more information. Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.219-1 -- Small Business Program Representations, (May 2004) (1) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325320(2) The small business size standard is 500 people.(3) The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, other than on a construction or service contract, but which proposes to furnish a product which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees.
