- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference Number HSFLAR-10-Q-00070 issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) with the evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is requirement is unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 515210. The size standard is $15.0 million average annual receipts. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is seeking cable television service for 1227 dormitory rooms, 37 offices/common areas and one room with both cable television and internet. The period of performance will be October 1, 2010 - September 30, 2011. The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order. NOTE: To receive an award resulting from this solicitation, offerors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/). Offerors are encouraged to, and must upon request, present their representations and certifications through the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at (http://orca.bpn.gov). Provide pricing with requested documents to Stephen L. Foster by email stephen.foster@dhs.gov or fax 575-748-8002. Email any questions no later than September 7, 2010. All quotes are DUE by September 10, 2010: 4:00 PM (MST). 52.232-18 Availability Of Funds (APR 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
