- Description
- Mattress Requirements Request for quotation for shipboard mattresses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for mattresses for the NOAA Ship Rainier. The solicitation number is FH133M-10-RQ-1442 and is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This action is a Total Small Business Set-aside, for NAICS code 337910, with a size standard of no more than 500 employees. See the attached RFQ and Mattress Requirements for details of the items to be provided. All supplies are to be delivered by October 01, 2010. If this delivery date cannot be met, bidders are to provide the earliest possible delivery date. The mattresses will be delivered to the NOAA Ship Rainier, 1801 Fairview Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98102-3767. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (JUN 2008), applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest responsible offeror. All quotes are to be accompanied by a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (AUG 2009). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (JUN 2010), applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (JUL 2010), applies to this acquisition (attached). Any additional clauses that apply to this contract are marked. All responses are due to the person/address below by 3:00 PM PST on Sept 13, 2010. Responses may be mailed, faxed or emailed.
