- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Dayton Contract office intends make a sole source award to Ameriwater, Incorporated, a Small Business, for the award of a planned maintenance Service Contract-Base year plus four(4) option years-for Hemodialysis Water Purification equipment. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in the FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The applicable NAICS Code is 333319 with a size standard of 500 employees. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition is attached. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
