- In accordance with FAR Part 5, this synopsis is posted for the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEMRE), New Orleans, LA. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that BOEMRE intends to award a sole sorce acquisition to Midland Valley Exploration Ltd., Glasgow, UK. The estimated amount of ths acquisition exceeds $25,000. Anticipated award date is no later than September 17, 2010. This is NOT a request for competitive quotations. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes. However, any and all information received by the Contract Specialst by September 10, 2010 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
