- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City office is issuing a purchase order to Lockheed Martin Sippican, Inc. no later than September 10, 2010 for six data acquisition computer systems. The units receive signals from AXBTs, AXCPs and AXCTDs. The ability to collect all the required data is necessary for the successful completion of the Hurricane Forecast Improvement Project. Market research for this requirement included posting a Sources Sought Notice on the Federal Business Opportunities website on August 1, 210, and checking the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contracts. No responses were received for the Sources Sought Notice. No matches were found for GSA schedule contracts. This notice of intent to award to Lockheed Martin Sippican, Inc. does not invite a response.
