- NASA/JSC has a requirement for DIGITAL INPUT OUTPUT AND RESOLVER INTERFACE SYSTEMAND SPARE PARTS AND 8 CHANNEL STRAIN GAGE SIMULATOR BOARDS.NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from United Electronic Industries. The performancerequirements for the Interface System are full emulation of the International Low ImpactDocking System (iLIDS) environment, Input/Output's (I/O), resolvers, and analog, highspeed Ethernet connectivity, seamless component integration, small footprintconfiguration, rugged rack mount construction, real time 1000 I/O scanning capability and Linux compatibility. The performance requirements for the 8-Channel Strain GageSimulator Boards are suitability for installation and seamless integration into theexisting Digital I/O and Resolver Interface System.The part numbers are as follows:Quantity: 10 Each/Part Number:DNR-12-1G Quantity: 10 Each/Part Number:DNR-AO-358-350Quantity: 8 Each/Part Number: DNR-AI-255Quantity: 32 Each/Part Number: DNR-AI-205Quantity: 60 Each/Part Number: DNR-DIO-433Quantity: 10 Each/Part Number: DNR-IO-FILLERQuantity: 35 Each/Part Number: DNA-CBL-37SQuantity: 60 Each/Part Number: DNA-CBL-62The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon September 15, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
