- Presolicitation Notice: The Louis A. Johnson VA Healthcare System has a requirement for a Home Oxygen Services. The method of procurement is 100% Hubzone set aside. The contractor will provide Home Oxygen Supplies and Services for Veterans and Beneficiaries of the Louis A. Johnson Healthcare System. The VAMC currently serves an estimated 1200 oxygen-using patients covering parts of northern West Virginia, southeast Ohio and southwest Pennsylvania. Required services include storage, delivery, set-up, adjustment, patient/caregiver instructions and recovery of equipment. Contractors shall have applicable expertise in government acquisition and program management disciplines. This notice serves as a presoliciation notice. Solicitation VA-244-10-RP-0221 will be issued on or about September 17, 2010. The Government will use a best value source selection in accordance with FAR 15.101and intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of this solicitation. The resulting contract will be effective for a base period through September 30, 2011 with the Government's option to exercise four (4) one-year option periods. The NAICS code is 532291 with a size standard of $13 million. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. Any questions must be in writing and may be e-mailed to Kristina.Weir@VA.Gov. The offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
