- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, DOC-East intends to solicit & award an acquisition for Custodial Services at CULPEPER MINUTEMEN MEM USARC, 1821 INDUSTRY STREET, CULPEPER, VA 22701-0879. The period of performance is 15 September 2010 through 15 September 2010, with one (1) year option period. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services. The proposed action is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) commercial acquisition. It is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Small businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561720 and the related small business size standard is $16.5M. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes only, and is not to be considered a request for proposal; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W911S1-10-T-0238 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 03 September 2010 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
