- J&A for Sole Source NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB, FL intends to award a sole source GSA delivery order to L3 Communications, Telemetry-West, for renewal of their Basic System Support for hardware and software for L3 Module 550 Telemetry Data Acquisition System, SNs: 87289, 87434, 87520, and 87355. This announcement constitutes the only notice. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6(b)(1). This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The Government believes this requirement is sole source. Sources that feel they can satisfy the requirement should notify the points of contacts listed below. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44, effective 8 July 2010. The NAICS code for this requirement is 518210 and the size standard is $25,000,000.
