- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut awarded a sole source, firm fixed price contract to IMG Communications, Inc. 546 East Main Street, Lexington KY 40508; for a marketing and advertising campaign within the University of Connecticut Athletic Department for the period of 11 September 2010 to 9 September 2011. The campaign consists of on-premises signage, video and print content in support of the Connecticut Army National Guard. IMG Communications, Inc., owns the advertising rights to the UCONN Athletic Department and related sporting events. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract has been awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. All qualified sources were to respond in writing not later than 10:00 AM, September 1, 2010.
