- DESC: The TACOM Contracting Command Rock Island intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order under FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source, for the following commercial items: 50 each Glock 19 9mm Pistols w/Polymer Sights and 150 each Glock Model 19 Magazines. This award is restricted to Glock Inc; 6000 Highlands Parkway SE; Smyrna, Georgia 30082-7204. Offers from concerns other than this company are not solicited. The U.S. Government does not have Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for these items, nor do we have any data rights to these items. Any other offer would have to be able to manufacture and deliver the same exact items as being supplied by Glock Inc. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. This requirement is being synopsized in accordance with FAR 5.201 alerting contractors of this requirement and the intent of the Government to immediately issue this delivery order to Glock Inc with an estimated award date of 13 September 2010.
