- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Caliper Corporation for the Transportation Planning Software (TransCAD) and Traffic Simulation Software (Trasns Modeler) to support the on-going and follow research efforts for the Integrated Corridor Management Program. Caliper shall provide a single workstation license that includes telephone technical support and free upgrades in addition to maintaining a suite of hardware and software tools. Additionally, the software will provide cutting edge traffic management concepts to perform additional follow on-ICM research. Caliper Corporation is the developer and manufacturer for the software they are only source who can provide services. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is September 17, 2010.
