- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR OFFERS pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8217 (c) for sole source to a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB). REF: VA-255-10-RQ-00529. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15, intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with EMT Veterans Services to provide wheelchair van transportation services for the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO, for an interim period NTE two (2) months; September 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010. This interim contract will maintain continuity of services to eligible veteran beneficiaries without interruption and allow time for the Government to solicit and award a long term contract for said services. The determination to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer i n accordance with VAAR 819.7008. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 485310 and the Size Standard is $7.0 Million.
