- This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5. Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Kings Bay, GA has a requirement for an Apprenticeship Training Program. It intendeds to award a firm fix price contract on a sole source basis to Altamaha Technical College. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Altamaha Technical College provides the Apprenticeship Program and is the only local provider designated by the state of Georgia to offer the courses that are part of the apprenticeship program. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
