- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific intends to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for full line Fresh Fruit and Vegetable support for various DoD activities and USDA supported schools located in the State of Hawaii on the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and Lanai. DLA Troop Support Pacific anticipates awarding BPAs for individual lots with the estimated annual BPA usage as follows: Lot 1 - Oahu Ships and Subs ($562,000); Lot 2 - Oahu Troops, Land Base, Galleys, Child Developmental Centers, Fort Shafter Exchange, and Hale Koa Hotel ($885,000); Lot 3 - Honolulu and Windward Schools ($237,000); Lot 4 - Leeward and Central Schools ($338,000); Lot 5 - PTA Troop and Big Island Schools ($161,000); Lot 6 - Maui Schools ($182,000); Lot 7 - Molokai and Lanai Schools ($14,000); and Lot 8 - PMRF Barking Sands and Kauai Schools ($54,000). Each lot will be evaluated separately, and a single BPA will be awarded for each lot based on competition. The resultant BPA will be for one (1) year. Although the exact performance date has yet to be firmly established, each BPA is expected to commence prior to October 2010. Each BPA will be set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the government. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is 10 September 2010, and will be available for download at http://www.fbo.gov.
