Description
Corrected Deliverable Table The purpose of this modification is to extend the due date to September 14, 2010 and provide the questions and answer listed below. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Question 1: A GSM modem is specified as a deliverable hardware item. If a service provider (eg: Verizon) is required for the modem to be operational would NRC be responsible for the fees associated with the account? Answer 1: The vendor shall supply the modem and cover the cost of operation of that account during the contract period. Question 2: The RFP specifies use of live meteorological data. Are these data available via internet access using a universal (ie; same for each site) protocol that is provided to us by NRC or does each site have a unique method for accessing the live data? Answer 2: The vendor shall be able to use the Internet to acquire data from the nearest public station e.g., Weather Bug for the site or identified location. Question 3: Please clarify whether the offeror is being required to sell or to license the software to the NRC. Would this work in any way limit our ability to market the software to others (domestically and internationally and to both private and public sectors)? Answer 3: License the software to the NRC, with modifications as stated in the proposal Question 4: Section 5 appears to be missing from the SOW. Can you confirm that Section 5 referred to in the Deliverables Table at the end of the SOW is actually Section 4.0 "Scope of Work"? Are there any missing sections ( all 4 consecutively numbered pages are in the SOW). Answer 4: Yes, numbers 3.0, 5.0 and 6.0 were not used in the document. The deliverable table is hereby corrected to read numbers 4.0, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4.a., 4.4.b, and 9.0. Please see attached correction. Question 5: Section 1. "Primary Factor I- UNDERSTANDING AND TECHNICAL APPROACH, subparagraph c. of the Solicitation requires compliance with Section 508 Standards 1194.21, 1194.31 & 1194.41. The SOW Requires compliance with 1194.21, 1194.22 & 1194.41. Answer 5: All sections of the solicitation and statement of work are corrected to read that the following Section 508 standards apply to this acquisition: 1194.21, 1194.22, 1194.31, and 1194.41. See www.section508.gov for more information.
