Description
This project consist of a base bid and four options. The Base Bid is the Mill and Overlay Outside Runway, 17L/35R. This project includes surveying the existing asphalt concrete surface of Runway 17L/35R, providing a design, milling the surface, proof rolling the milled surface where required, transporting the milled materials to the designated storage site on base, placing a prime or tack coat, placing new hot mix asphalt concrete to the original surface elevations, surveying the finished surface, and applying pavement striping and markings. Option 1 is the Repair C-17 Parking Spots 1 thru 8. This option includes providing site analysis to determine if the drains contained within the spots can be raised from their current elevation to an elevation equal to the parking spaces, surveying removal of existing asphalt, general welding, general electrical work, installation of concrete and reinforcement, excavation with heavy Equipment, hauling and disposing of debris, and general site cleanup. Option 2 is Assault Landing Zone (AZL) Lighting. This option includes providing surveying, trenching and backfill, installation of duct and or conduit, general concrete work and reinforcement, provide and install materials to provide power to the lighting, provide and installation of airfield lighting, general electrical work, provide and install electrical equipment and materials, installation of sod and seed, and general site cleanup. Option 3 is to Re-grade Low Lying Areas (BASH). This option includes surveying, trenching and backfill, installation water runoff piping, use of heavy equipment to re-grade low lying areas, general concrete work to include demolition of road work, installation of concrete road sections, installation of compacted gravel road sections, hauling and disposing of spoils, hauling and placing of fill, installation of sod and seed, and general site cleanup. Option 4 is to Replace Airfield Signs. This option consist of providing a complete lighting design, surveying, trenching and backfill, installation of duct and or conduit, provide and install materials to provide power to the signage, general concrete work and reinforcement, provide and install airfield signage to include mounts, general electrical work, provide and install electrical equipment and materials, installation of sod and seed, and general site cleanup.
