- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number W9127Q-11-T-0002 is issued as an RFQ and is issued as UNRESTRICTED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. NAICS for determination of size status is 711310. The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Mississippi-Contracting Office, Jackson, MS intends to issue a purchase order for Meeting Space/Conference Facilities, meals and related services for the Yellow Ribbon Program Post/Pre Deployment/Family Demobilization Event, to be held Saturday, October 09 and Sunday, October 10, 2010. The event will be attended by 500 Army and Air Guard members and their families. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services or 3rd party event planning services. We will not consider a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel or conference center. REQUIREMENT: LOCATION: Only facilities located in Jackson, Mississippi will be considered. CLIN 0001 - MEETING ROOMS/VENUE: To include the usage of the following rooms/areas: Lobby/Hallway Area for event registration, One (1) room that can accommodate 1100 adult participants set up classroom style, One (1) room that can accommodate 250 adults participants set up classroom style, One (1) room that can accommodate 500 adult participants set up in rounds (8 or 10) for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. In addition, the hotel/convention center must be able to provide seven (7) rooms (each room 1000sq ft or more) for government provided child care; for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. CLIN 0002 - AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT/TECHNICIAN: Eighteen (18) hours Technical Support for Setup and breakdown of AV equipment for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. CLIN 0003 CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: Continental Breakfast to consist of One Hundred (100) dozen assorted pastries, Sixty (60) gallons of Coffee each day for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. CLIN 0004 - LUNCH PLATED LUNCHES: Five Hundred (500) Adults each day for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. CLIN 0005 BOXED LUNCHES: One Hundred Fifty (150) Boxed Lunches each day for children to consist of sandwiches/hotdogs/burgers/chicken strips, chips, fruit, cookie, and juice box/milk for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2010. This solicitation is prepared IAW FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following clauses apply: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors (JAN 2005); FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, based on technical capability and price, when combined are approximately equal. Multiple awards will not be made.
