- Description
- AECOM International Development, Inc, JOFOC This Award Notice is posted to comply with FAR 5.301. The contract with AECOM International Development, Inc., 176-C-00-07-00011, has been modified to expand the Statement of Work for the provision of technical assistance in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and extend the period of performance of the contract from 07/02/2010 to 09/30/2011. The purpose of the modification is implementation of additional trade facilitation activities in Central Asia. The South and Central Asia region is one of the least economically integrated regions in the world. Economic integration has been constrained by long historical distrust, past conflicts and low levels of development. Department of State resources ($750,000), managed by USAID, will support the projects below to build relationships between key players including business associations, farmers, alumni of U.S. exchange programs and other organizations that can serve as catalysts in the development of regional trade and transit networks. Programs will be implemented in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and the funds will organize regional events for which participants from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan will be invited. The price of the contract is increased by $750,000, from $15,462,392.00 to $16,172,220.00. Pursuant FAR 5.406 and 6.305 the Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition for the modification of the contract with AECOM International Development, Inc. 176-C-00-07-00011 is hereby provided.
