Contract No. FQ10185 RFP No. FQ10185/STH ADVANCE NOTICE Date Posted on Internet:October 4, 2010 Pre-Proposal Conference:October 18, 2010 (Monday 10:00AM) Bid Opening:November 3, 2010 (Wednesday 2:00PM) Project Description:Repair/Rehabilitation Projects WMATA System Wide Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland Description of Work These are Job Order Contracts (JOC). A JOC is a firm Fixed Unit Price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity construction contract. Work may be performed throughout various Metrorail/Metro Bus Facilities in Washington, Virginia and Maryland. The work includes a collection of detailed repair, rehabilitation, replacement, and demolition tasks and related specifications with established Unit Prices for each task. A master contract is executed with a Contractor and work is accomplish by means of issuance of Orders For Services under the master Contract. Estimated Cost Range:Minimum Guarantee = $250,000/ per contract Maximum Potential = $10,000,000/ per contract Period of Performance:Three year Base Period, with Two (One Year Options) A bid guarantee, in the amount of 5% of the bid price, is required with the bid if it is greater than $100,000. The contract includes a DBE goal of 23% if the bid price is $500,000 or more. The successful proposal must provide Performance and Payment Bonds after award of the contract in the specified amounts. An insurance certificate with Railroad insurance, Worker's Compensation (Statutory), Employer's Liability, Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability coverages with WMATA included as an additional insured as stated, will also be required of the successful proposal. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010 at WMATA, Jackson Graham Building, Meeting Room, Lobby Level, 600 5th Street, N. W., Washington, D.C., 20001. CD’s of the contract plans and specifications will be available on or about October 4, 2010, and furnished at the cost of $50 per copy.
