- Questions and answers as of 5 Oct 10 9 Sep 10 Site Vist Q/A updated as of 5 Oct 10 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) Issued: The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation for IDIQ Paving contract. Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for repair and maintenance of base streets and parking lots at Patrick AFB, FL and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL in accordance with contract, drawings and specifications. The work covered under this contract consists of repair, removal and replacement of concrete, asphaltic concrete pavement, cementious concrete pavement, striping pavements, and ancillary work on utilities adjacent to and associated with road work as shown on the said drawings and as indicated in the scope of the work. The Contractor must be able to effectively and efficiently accomplish all types of paying requirements at various facilities on Patrick AFB, FL and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL. In order to undertake these tasks the Contractor and all appointed subcontractors must have all the proper licenses and necessary certificates for the assorted tasks, as well as maintaining an adequate amount of skilled laborers to complete the task(s). Performance period is one base year and four one-year option years. In addition, the government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. Solicitation issue date of 27 Aug 10 and proposal closing date of 14 Oct 10 at 3 p.m. are tentative. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 237310/$33.5M. The disclosure of magnitude of the seed project is between $100,000 and $250,000 IAW FAR 36.204(e). The minimum value is $50K and maximum value is $10M. The solicitation is unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstrative Program IAW FAR 19.1007 (b) (1). Contract award will be based on a best value analysis using performance-price, trade-off (PPT) procedures.
