Description

Fabricate and install a new pump test stand. This solicitation has been amended to change the acquisition set aside from a small business set aside to an unrestricted procurement. The original solicitation was posted on 31 August 2010 and Amendment 0001 was posted on 7 September 2010 to add questions and answers from the initial site visit. Amendment 0002 reopens the solicitation as unrestricted and communicates that a second site visit will be held on Tuesday, 26 October 2010 to view the existing pump test stand and the existing site conditions. Amendment 0002 is posted along with a "conformed" version of the solicitation that incorporates the changes in both amendments. Any company interested in submitting a quote and technical proposal is strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Comments from companies that attended the initial site visit indicated that this procurement is complex, as the new pump test stand must be interfaced with the existing steam drive and condensate infrastructure. Companies are encouraged to develop partnerships and subcontracting relationships.
