- This announcment ammends the previously synopsized PRE-SOLICITATION ONLY. Actual solicitation will be posted in 5-10 days. The USFWS has a requirement for the construction of a new maintenance building at Desert National Wildlife Refuge, Corn Creek Station located north of Las Vegas, NV. This project will include the following:: Furnishing labor, management, fees, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to construct a new complete and functioning 4000 square foot Maintenance Building with 1212 square foot mezzanine level within the building footprint. The new building is located within the existing equipment building utility yard, access is limited. Water for construction is not available. Building structure is concrete reinforced insulated tilt-up panels, with metal joists and standing seam metal roof. Provide all associated systems including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, telephone and communications. Provide a complete waste system including a new sand oil separator, septic tank and leach field. Utilities will connect to utility stubs within proximity to the new building location. It is anticipated that a construction slab will be required, but determined by Contractor. The facility has LEED principals of practice designed into the drawings but will not be LEED certified, commissioning of systems is required. This Opportunity is UNRESTRICTED and will be available to all business sizes. The NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. SPECIAL NOTE:A SEPERATE TECHNICAL AND PRICE PROPOSAL WILL BE REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
