Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice is for project No. 528-09-372, RFP VA-528-11-RP-0002, construction of a parking lot at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, VISN 2, at 3495 Bailey Ave., New York 14215. This shall be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). THIS IS NOT A RECORVEY ACT PROJECT. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work outlined in the statement of work, specs and drawings section unless specified otherwise. The work under the project includes one (1) bid items to include earthwork, lighting, site work, fencing, sewer, and paving. This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Please pay particular attention to the evaluation section that is attached to this solicitation. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation. The SDVOSB contractor is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. The SDVOSB must be small under relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.vip.vetbiz.gov; www.ccr.gov; https://orca.bpn.gov and https://vets100.vets.dol.gov/ to be eligible for award. Offers must ensure their registrations are updated, correct, and have not expired. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 10/06/2010 at FedBizOps.gov. Bids are due no later than 12 noon local time on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, BUFFALO VA MEDICAL CENTER, 3495 Bailey Ave. Buffalo NY 14215. NAICS: 238990 apply, Size Standard: $14.0 million. PROJECT COST RANGE: $250,000.00-$500,000.00. Bidders are encouraged to attend the walk through on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. local time, meeting at the VA Buffalo Medical Center, Basement, Rm. 54C, 3495 Bailey Ave., Buffalo NY 14215.
