- Description
- The Military Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the upcoming Mid-Term Availability of the USNS LEROY GRUMMAN (T-AO 195). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence 2 March 2011 for a period of Fifty-five (55) days. This requirement will be solicited on a full and open basis. Major work items include: CLEAN AND GAS FREE TANKS, VOIDS AND COFFERDAMS; SPECIAL PERIOD SURVEY 5; UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING AND PAINTING; PROPELLER MAINTENANCE; DFM SETTLING TANK INSERT AND COATING; NAVIGAT MK1 GYRO SYSTEM T-ALT; FLIGHT DECK NON-SKID; 3&4 SSDG TURBO OVERHAUL/INTERCOOLER CLEANING. The estimated issued date for this solicitation is 12 Oct 2010 with an estimated closing date of 17 Nov 2010.
