- The MTS FY11 and FY12 Production requirements were posted under FA8620-10-D-3008, a planned three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The FY10 quantities were placed under a seperate contract action (FA8620-06-G-4041 Delivery Order 0015) to expedite a proposal and timely award for immediate FY10 requirements. Likewise, the FY11 and FY12 requirements will be taken from FA8620-10-D-3008 and placed under a seperate contract action (FA8620-06-G-4041 Delivery Order 0018) as necessary to expedite a proposal and timely award for immediate FY11/12 requirements. The MTS FY10-12 IDIQ contract has been canceled under FA8620-10-D-3008 and replaced with the Delivery Orders under FA8620-06-G-4041 as stated in the paragraphs above. The FY11 and 12 requirements are listed below: FY11 Requirements FY11 MTS B Production/Spare Systems & Containers: 75 FY11 MTS B Containers: 3 FY11 MTS A Spare Systems: 17 FY11 MTS A High Definition Electronics Unit & Containers: 102 FY11 MTS B Support Equipment: 9 FY11 MTS A/B Single Replacement Unit Spares: 1 lot FY12 Requirements FY12 MTS B Production/Spare Systems & Containers: 75 FY12 MTS B Containers: 3 FY12 MTS A Spare Systems: 17 FY12 MTS A High Definition Electronics Unit & Containers: 102 FY12 MTS B Support Equipment: 9 FY12 MTS A/B Single Replacement Unit Spares: 1 lot This effort has already been synopsized under FA8620-10-D-3008; however, the efforts will be procured under the contract vehicles as mentioned in the opening paragraph. The Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Division (ASC/WIIK) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon – McKinney for MTS FY11 and FY12 production efforts for the Predator/Reaper program. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems – McKinney has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary, knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights for the system; therefore to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
