Description

Maintenance dredging of approximately 1,095,000 cubic yards (with an additional 370,000 cubic yards) of unclassified material from Upper Charleston Harbor, Lower Reaches and Wando River, Charleston County, South Carolina. Material dredged under the contract shall be transported to and dumped within the EPA approved Ocean Dredged Material Disposal site. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This acquisition is Unrestricted. The Contractor must be register in DOD Central contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage (www.fbo.gov) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 21 Oct 2010 with bids due on or about 23 Nov 2010.
